Antonio’s wife Graciela developed several brain tumors that left her with limited mobility and often homebound. Without a modified vehicle, Antonio found it difficult to lift Graciela into his van several times a day and take to her various doctors' appointments and family gatherings. Our employees, who are change makers, heard their story and took action. Through AltaMed's employee giving program, AltaMed Gives, Antonio received financial assistance to modify his van; now, he easily takes Graciela to appointments and enjoys being outdoors again!
