AltaMed Foundation: Where Care Meets Possibility
The AltaMed Foundation is the philanthropic arm of AltaMed Health Services. AltaMed Health Services provides primary, dental, and preventive care to communities across Southern California, with a focus on making care accessible, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the needs of the people it serves. The Foundation mobilizes philanthropic support to expand and strengthen that care.
Through strategic philanthropy, we invest in programs that strengthen the health care workforce, stabilize families in times of crisis, expand educational opportunity, and create healing environments rooted in culture and community. We work alongside community partners to extend care beyond the clinic walls and help build healthier futures for the communities AltaMed serves.
In 2021, the AltaMed Foundation launched the H.E.L.P. Powered by YOU Campaign, a 6-year, $110 million effort to close health gaps driven by where people live.
