An afternoon Tardeadaa festive gathering of community leaders and members of the philanthropic community who believe in investing in the health of women and children in our community.

At the Tardeada Comida y Vino you will experience the culinary richness representative of Orange County, and sample delectable wines from California Vinyards.

Hosted by the AltaMed Foundation, this event raises funds to provide vital health services, including mammograms, maternal health, diabetes screenings, women’s wellness exams, and programs addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Tardeada Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the serving size for wine tastings?
Our wine and beverage vendors will serve a maximum of a 2 oz pour per California ABC regulations.

2. Can I bring my own alcohol or food?
No outside alcohol or food will be permitted.

3. Is there parking available?
Valet Service will be available.

We strongly recommend using ride share (Uber or Lyft)

4. Are Children allowed?
This event is for those aged 21 and over. Every attendee must present a valid ID for entry. Underage young adults, teens, children, and infants cannot attend.

5. What is the check-in process?
Please note there are no physical tickets for this event. As long as you have completed your registration, your name will be on our guest list at check-in.

Should you have any last minute changes to your guest list, please visit us at the check-in area and our staff will be glad to assist you

6. Who can I contact if I have questions about the event?
Please email Elizabeth Romero, Director of Special Events with any questions or special requests.

7. Can I buy a ticket to the event?
We are not offering individual tickets this year. If you want to attend as a Sponsor, please contact Joel Lara, Senior Development Officer, at [email protected].

8. What do I do if I lose my ticket or need to cancel?
If you lose your ticket, please provide your name and the name of your organization/host at check-in to be admitted. Tickets are fully transferrable. Unfortunately, refunds will not be offered.

Please contact Shelby Sykes from Events by ONE to request ADA accommodations.

10. Lost & Found
If you have lost an item, please email Special Events Manager Ashley Sanchez to check if your item has been recovered. We will hold valuables found at the event site for a maximum of 30 days. AltaMed will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.

11. Are Pets allowed at the event?
Service animals are welcome at the event. Unfortunately, pets will not be permitted.

12. Is there a dress code for the event?
We recommend Smart Casual Attire. This event is outdoors, bring a light layer for the autumn weather and comfortable shoes.

13. What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds.

14. I am a member of the press and am interested in attending. Who do I contact?

15. Are there any items I can’t bring to the event?

  • The following items will not be permitted:
  • Outside food or beverages (including alcohol) of any kind
  • Illegal, illicit substances of any kind; drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Chairs, blankets, and lawn umbrellas
  • Noise-making devices: air horns, drums, whistles, etc.
  • Firearms, explosives, and weapons of any kind (including pocketknives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials, including handbills, flyers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc., will be permitted.
